Most people when they think of or pray to God they perceive Him to be “way up there somewhere”. As redeemed children of God we have the privilege of being in a relationship with God. This means that He is close, near and available 24/7. We are not bothering Him when we talk to Him. No, just the opposite. He wants us to talk to Him and focuses on us individually when we do. He focuses on us with eyes full of perfect love because we are His adopted children. He chose us before the creation of the world. Then He redeemed us through the death of His Son. If He cared enough for us to sacrifice His only Son for us then it stands to reason that we are precious in His sight. The next time you pray remember that He is right there in the room with you listening intently to every word.
